The Lightning 12 is a twelve hour off road running event open for solo runners & teams to be held on Sunday 30th June 2013. Held in the grounds of Catton Park (the home of the Adidas Thunder Run 24 hour). A new 10k course for Lightning 12 Hour will be as challenging as it is enjoyable, taking in the breathtaking scenery as the route weaves its way up and down the hills and through the woodland. Ample course marking, a mid-point drinks station and plenty of marshals will ensure that competitors can concentrate on enjoying the challenge and tackling the terrain. The Lightning 12 gives runners a good taster of what?s to come later in the year, getting used to the format, team tactics & night running.

Terms and Conditions:
1) All participants must be aged 18yrs or over on the event date.
2) Participants agree to take part on the understanding that it is a strenuous 12hr race that may involve running in darkness and when tired. They must understand the risks and be confident that they are up to such a test of endurance.
3) They shall also agree to compete in a cheerful and sportsmanlike manner and agree to follow instructions given by the organisers and/or race officials.
4) Participants agree not to hold Pro Velo Support, it's sponsors, employees or organisers or those of Catton Park and it's associates liable for mishap or injury caused over the duration of the Lightning 12hr event.
5) Pro Velo Support will collect participants' personal data to process their entry application and would like contact them by e mail, telephone and/or post. Pro Velo Support may also occasionally pass your information to carefully selected organisations or brands promoting and researching their products. Please indicate on your application or entry form if you prefer your details not to be passed on.
6) By entering the event location you agree to be filmed/photographed and to the use of your image, in any footage used by Pro Velo Support or their sponsors for their own publicity in any media worldwide.
7) Refund policy- any refund of Lightning 12hr entry fee made before March 1st will be subject to an administration fee of £10 . No refunds will be made after March 1st.
