1.05pm U17 & U20 Women Distance 5km
1.35pm U15 Girls Distance 4km
1.55pm U17 Men Distance 6km
2.25pm Senior Women Distance 8km
3.00pm Senior Men Distance 12km


Results will be checked after competition and any team who have run athletes not on entry form will be disqualified.
N.B. Running an athlete under another athlete?s name will result in a disciplinary action under the rules of the sport.

All athletes MUST have Midland eligibility to enter these Championships.

Midland Eligibility
- The Athlete having been born in the Midlands. (See below)
- A minimum of 9 months continuous residence in the Midlands immediately prior to the event to be competed in.
NB: University Residence does not count as a Midlands qualification
- By first claim of membership of an EA affiliated Club within the Midlands competition area that has registered with EA for cross country running and is a member of the EA registration scheme

Birth/Residence qualification is in one of the following:
Avon, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worecestershire.
N.B.: England South West & East Midlands are recognised for qualification purposes BUT you can only compete in one Area Championships in a calendar year - January to December.
NB: The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries and revise dates where necessary.

Qualification for entering the Midland Team Championships
a) First claim membership of a Club within the Midlands competition area that is affiliated to England Athletics for Cross Country
b) Midland Universities / Colleges may enter and run in the team race if the University / College is affiliated for England Athletics for Cross Country and enters a team in the Championships.
All athletes must pay the individual fee and can only compete for the team providing their first claim club is not also competing in the competition.
C) An athlete that does not have Midland eligibility, yet runs for a Midland eligible Club may run for that Club and score in the Team event, although will not be eligible for an individual award.
