Following the huge success of the inaugural event in 2012 with over 700 competitors, IT"S ON AGAIN!!
The Dunsborough and Districts Progress Association presents The second Bendigo Bank DUNSBOROUGH BAY FUN RUN on Sunday 9th June 2013.
The event features a 5km walk/run and 10km run along the shores of the pristine Geographe Bay, commencing and finishing on the newly completed Dunsborough foreshore at the end of Dunn Bay Road. Start time for both events is 9.00 am.
This is a great event for promoting health and fitness, bringing the community together in the winter, attracting visitors to our region, and raising money for those in need in our community.
Proceeds this year will go to the Dunsborough St. Vincent de Paul Society for community welfare and education support.
The Dunsborough region is renowned for its picturesque environment, pristine beaches, great surf, art and craft, wineries and a wide range of dining and accommodation options. Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy all the attractions this beautiful part of the world has to offer?! |
