About: One of the Greatest Runnings Events In Norway.
A unique running weekend with several runs
during two days. The Great Fjord Run takes
place in Bergen - The gateway to the Fjords.
In 2013 runners from 34 countries and
5 continents were on the starting line.
In 2011 and 2012, Haile Gebrselassie,
world´s best all time long distance runner
ever, visited The Great Fjord Run.
After the race he said: "It is fantastic to be
here". "A fantastic run in a fascinating nature.
I'll come back"
Course description:
The HalvMarathon crosses several bridges, giving the runners spectacular views during the race.
10K and 5K Road Races both finishing on the
famous Knarvik Games running track.
