Information:

TEAM CAPTAIN

In theory, this is the most responsible and organised member of the team. All correspondence will be sent to their address and the Captain will be expected to attend the riders- briefing on the morning of the race.

Please visit www.mountain-mayhem.com for all event information and rules, and make sure your team members are familiar with this information too.

SUB-CATEGORIES

There are sub-categories that can be entered in addition to your ability class.
Oldies - The total age of the team must exceed 160 years for four-man/four-woman teams, or 200 years for mixed teams of 5.

Services - The first team home made up of riders serving in the military or emergency services.

Singlespeed - Open to solos or teams in which all riders compete on bikes with only one gear.

HALO 24HR FAT BIKE CHALLENGE

This could be the start of something lovely - a low pressure, 24 hour race exclusively for fat bikes.

The Halo 24hr Fat Bike Challenge is for fat tyres only, nothing narrower than 3.5' allowed!
With no limit on entry numbers, we?re looking forward to seeing solo riders and teams of four (mixed as you please) battle it out day and night, pedalling hard for a place on the podium with trophies and Halo prizes at stake.

What are you waiting for - you'll be grinning like a fool all weekend so get signed up! Halo will have fat bikes and accessories on show for
those who haven?t yet seen the light.

ANECDOTES / TEAM STORIES

To avoid hearing the same gags over and over again, some of the 24 hours commentary will need a little help from you. Give our commentators some additional material by listing, on a separate sheet, some interesting facts about your team and send it to info@mountain-mayhem.com. For instance: Where do you come from? Why did you get talked into doing the race? Are there any facts about the team we might want to know? If you?re adventurous enough to enter Mountain Mayhem, then you're bound to have a story to tell.

DISCLAIMER & SIGNATURES

Read it and make sure everyone on the team reads it. Don't worry if you can't get everyone together to sign this form now, as they will have to sign on at the event before they can ride. Make sure you understand that the race will include night riding and riding when very tired. You?d be wise to get in some practice night rides as a team.

ACCOMMODATION

Your entry fee includes camping at Gatcombe Park from Friday night before the event through to Monday a.m. The campsite will be open from 09.00a.m. Friday. The course will be marked and open for practice from Friday
afternoon. We suggest you take Monday off to rest-up.

There will be AA signage in place to the location.
