About: In 2015, the Luka Annual Charity 5km / 10km Fun Walk / Run became a symbol of hope for the Luka Community.
During its inaugural year, the Luka Annual Charity 5km / 10km Run / Walk attracted an impressive number of spectators and participants, some of whom have taken part in major marathons like the Ultimate Human Race, the Comrades' Marathon.
In 2016, the Luka Sports Institute, a non - profit organisation, in association with the Luka Cycling Club, Luka Athletics Club and Athletics Royal Bafokeng, will re-launch the Luka Annual Charity 5km / 10km Fun Walk / Run, which comprised of a 5km fun walk / run and a 10km Race, into a half - marathon, renamed the Luka Cycling & Running Challenge, 21km half marathon, 10km road race and 5km fun walk / run, as well as 5km, 10km, 26.3km and 58km cycling road races
