About: Old Eds Road Race 2016
This is a race for the whole family, with a 21km for the serious runners to the 5km fun run for the rest of the family. The course takes you through the tree -lined suburbs of Houghton, Illovo and Killarney with wide roads and plenty of friendly water stations along the route. The course is undulating without being too testing and novice and seasoned runners alike will enjoy the gentle downhill to the finish. The day is often blessed with fine crisp spring weather with plenty of after race stalls and entertainment. It's a great morning out for competitors and supporters alike.
This is a ChampionChip timed event and Medals are awarded to all finishers.
Starting times and venues: Old Edwardians Club, 11th-9th Avenue, Lower Houghton, Johannesburg; 21.1km & 10km Run: 8am; 10km Walk: 8:15am; 5km Fun Run: 8:30am.
