About:
2018 Marks the return of this cracking 50 Mile Ultra-Marathon, fusing together some of the very best trails in the region on a marked route.
Runners take in the River Dee into the heart of Chester, the Old Dee Bridge, Chester Racecourse, the North Cheshire Way, Helsby Hill and the wonderful Sandstone Trail including Frodsham, Alvanley Cliff and Delamere Forest. This fantastic route is further complemented by 6 Checkpoints en route that support Ultra-runners during the 50 Miles, including Dunham Hill & Hapsford Village Hall located close to midway.

Race Day
Saturday 10th March 2018.
4.00am - 5.30am Registration and Kit Checks.
5.45am Race Briefing.
6am Race Start.
15 hour cut off - 8pm
Top 100 finishers earn a Gold 'Chester Ultra' Medal, 101-200 finishers earn a Silver 'Chester Ultra' Medal and 201+ finishers earn the Bronze 'Chester Ultra' Medal.
There are additional prizes for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers and for the 1st 3 Teams (based on the accumulated times of their first 3 runners). |
