About:
Pennine Barrier Ultra 50 & 100 Mile... A fantastic Ultra-Marathon fusing Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, the Pennine Way and the wonderful Yorkshire Three Peaks, Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. With a choice of 2 distances ... 50 Miles and 2590m of Ascent (8497 ft) or take on the 100 Mile Pennine Barrier Double giving 5180m of Ascent (16994 ft) and an amazing buckle upon completion.
Both Start at 6am sharp with 5 Checkpoints during the 50 Mile Race and 11 Checkpoints during the 100 Mile Race to support your progress.

Race Number Collection & Kit Check - Malham Village Hall, Laneside, Cove Road, Malham, BD23 4DH.
The Buck Inn, beside Malham Village Hall, will feed runners with fresh soup as they cross the line of the 50 Mile.

Cut-off's & Classification
50 Mile 17 hour cut off - Saturday 11pm
Top 100 finishers earn a Gold 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Medal, 101-200 finishers earn a Silver 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Medal and 201+ finishers earn the Bronze 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Medal.
There are additional prizes for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers |
100 Mile 36 hour cut off - Sunday 6pm
Top 50 finishers earn a Gold 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Buckle, 51-100 finishers earn a Silver 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Buckle and 101+ finishers earn the Bronze 'Pennine Barrier Ultra' Buckle.
There are additional prizes for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers. |
