About:
The 2018 Australia Day Open Water Swim will be the 15th run by Mandurah Masters and is to be held on Friday the 26th January 2018. The Event will utilise a rectangular course set in the boating exclusion zone at Doddi?s Beach on Halls Head Parade, Halls Head. The Event offers the choice of three swim distances: 1 km, 2 km & 4 km.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st male and female for each distance. In addition, prizes will be awarded to: nearest nominated time for each distance, and male and female Age Group winners for the 2 km and 4 km swims. The first 200 swimmers to register online will receive a free Australia Day Hand Towel.

Age Requirements:
The minimum age for acceptance is:
- 11 years of age for the 1km Swim
- 12 years of age for the 2km Swim
- 12 years of age for the 4km swim
All age categories will be determined based on age on the day (ie. 26/01/2018).
