About: The 2018 Cape Gate Vaal Marathon is taking place on Sunday 4th March 2018 and will be the 44th running of this event.
The 42.2km and 21.1km event is pre-entry only, limited to 3500 on the marathon and 2000 on the Half Marathon. Only 1000 of each will be available at the shops and collection points.
R10 of each 42.2 and 21.1 km entry will go to our local charities.
This is a 4 race event, a 42.2 km Marathon, 21.1 km Half Marathon, 10 km Race, only 220 entries available on the 10+1 and a 5 km Fun Run - 5 km Fun Run entries will be taken at Registration.
The popular +1 10km race will again be held and is for 2 runners running and finishing together to qualify for a special medal. Temp licences, if required, will be included in the entry fee.
Only the first 700 combined online entries across the 42.2km & 21.1km will receive a race T-shirt so enter early to ensure your T-shirt.
