About:
Get out into the great outdoors and enjoy a run, walk or mountain bike ride through the jarrah forest surrounding the historic town of Greenbushes Western Australia by participating in the Greenbushes Fun Run and Festival on Sunday 20 May 2018. A great family event for National Families Week 14-20 May 2018.
The event will raise funds for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia (BCNA) which provides much needed support for sufferers of breast cancer and their families throughout Australia. There will be a Mini Field of Women to highlight the impact breast cancer has on communities.
The event will also raise funds for the South West Autism Network (SWAN). SWAN is a not for profit, charitable organisation supporting individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the South West region of WA.
Enjoy a 10km run (approximate) and a 5km run/walk (approximate) with cash prizes for adults, veterans, youth and children's categories for males and females. The event also has 5km and 15km MTB events.
The track traverses jarrah forest on mainly gravel tracks and is accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Market stalls, food and activities will be happening at the Greenbushes Sports Complex in association with the 2017 Fun Run so take a day out in the great outdoors and enjoy a unique run through the South West jarrah forest. |

Age is determined by your age on race day.
The categories are:

-- Junior Female ( Under 17 years)
-- Open Male ( 17 years to 49 years)
-- Open Female (17 Years to 49 years)
-- Veteran Male ( 50+ years)
-- Veteran Female ( 50+ years)

Timetable:
On- line registrations close Friday 18th May 2018. Manual registration and collection of bibs and timing devices available 2:30pm-4pm Saturday 19th May at the Greenbushes Sports Ground or early Sunday morning (20th) prior to the event. No group bib collection on Saturday.
