About: The Om Die Dam Ultra Marathon is the largest inland ultra-marathon in South Africa, and this year will be offering a 50km ultra marathon and a 21km half-marathon limited to 4000 Ultra entrants and 2000 half marathon entrants.
Due to its scenic route - via the Hartbeespoort Dam - and family appeal, the race is consistently voted as one of the top national races.
The 50km race is the flagship event. Gold medals will be awarded to category winners, silver medals to men under 3:45 and women under 4:10, and bronze to all other finishers.
