Following on from the sell out success and your amazing feedback on the inaugural 2018 Beaumaris Coast 2 Castle 10k/Half Marathon, we are pleased to announce that the event is back for 2019 - on Sunday 8th September.
Run from Coast to Castle - passing some of North Wales's iconic views en route whilst raising money for our extremely worthy charity partners (Beaumaris Leisure Centre, Beaumaris Primary School and other local causes)!
The Coast 2 Castle 10k/Half Marathon, jointly arranged by Beaumaris Town Road Runners, Canolfan Beaumaris and Betsi Runaways, has secured one of the most stunning course locations in the UK for this beautiful festival of running on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
Setting off from the picturesque seaside town of Beaumaris on the Menai Strait, the routes enjoy stunning views of the mountains of Snowdonia and the spectacular coastline whilst the Half takes runners out to Penmon Point and its famous lighthouse.
With a few challenging climbs en route (the half marathon is quite hilly!) the races finish at Beaumaris Castle which is steeped in history. There will also be a Fun Run suitable for Under-16s (and their parents!) Medal for all Fun Run participants.
All 10k and Half runners receive a complementary Coast 2 Castle t-shirt and quality medal!
