Since its inaugural edition in 2012, Skosana Road Race with distances of 10km, 5km and Street Mile (1.6km) has been one of most exciting events on the Athletics Gauteng North road running calendar attracting runners throughout the country.
The route is fast and challenging and it takes you through the neighbourhoods of the Correctional Services, Military Health Base Depot, SA Army and Weskoppies Hospital.
Clubs, Companies, Schools and the community enjoy this beautiful race in Gauteng so join us for the 7th edition in 2019.
The race is one of last road races for athletes to cool down or it can be the perfect training race for the upcoming season. Skosana road race takes place on the 7th of December and is a Charity event to raise funds for Skosana Running Group Development (NPC) under the Nedbank Running Club. |
