About:
The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, January 2nd, 2021.
The event is a handicapped running race over an approximate 10km distance where runners are allocated their start time by the Appointed Handicapper. The race allows competitors of all running abilities to have the chance to win the race.
The race will see competitors attempt to catch each other within the closing stages of the race making this exciting for spectators and competitors and providing something different from the standard running race over a 10km journey. The race will finish next to the Bunbury Saturday Markets in Queens Gardens.
2021 will also include a support race. The support race will be a distance of approximately 5km, one lap of the Bunbury Inlet and can only be entered as a Male & Female Duo. The accumulative time of the duos will determine the overall results in the support event.
