About: Edgeup Life MTBeast of the East is an official CSA Sanctioned Event. As such, all CSA rules apply.
The race is predominantly on district roads, train service roads, single track and jeep track on farm roads. The sections on tar require you to obey the rules of the road at all times. When crossing a main road, SAPS or Think Bike will be on hand, but always be aware of potential traffic dangers.
The route will be marked but GPS devices are required.
Helmets are compulsory
CSA License:
You will be required to have a Cycling SA Racing license or membership and will be asked for your license/membership number at the online entries portal.
If you do not have a racing license or membership with CSA, you will be required to buy a day license when entering, at a cost of R50.
You will be required to produce your CSA Digi-Card at registration to validate your license/membership number provided at entering.
