Join us at the 24th Anniversary of our 10km or 5km road race schedule for Sunday 16 October 2022
The starting gun is fired at 07h00. Anybody can enter and everyone is welcome. T-shirts to the first 800 entries of the 10km race and to the first 100 entries of the 5km race.
No entries on the day of the race.
Pre entries will close on Thursday 13 October 2022.
You can collect your race number and T-Shirt on Friday 14 October 2022 from 17h00 to 19h00 and on Saturday 15 October 2022 from 09h00 to 15h00 at entrance 4 of the Northgate shopping centre
Venue
Northgate Shopping Centre, Corner Olievenhout Ave and Northumberland Rd, Northriding. The race starts and ends at Entrance 4. Parking at Entrance 3, 4 and 5.
Fees
The fee for the 10km race are R120.00 per runner and race walkers. Anybody can join, however, if you are not registered to an athletics club you will be required to pay an additional fee of R30 for a temporary licence.
The fee for the 5km race is R60 per participant. No licences are required for this race and everybody is welcome to take part. We encourage walkers to join us, too.
Entry fee for either the 5km and the 10km for grandmasters is R50.
Medals
All those who complete either race will receive a medal.
Prize-giving will be at 09h00
The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes participating indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against all and any actions of whatsoever nature that may arise out of their participation in the race.
