About: We will be back on Sunday, 30 October 2022 as the old format of a mass participation event, namely the Macsteel National Classic Cycle Race.
Macsteel, our Principle Sponsor, are once again extremely proud to be a part of the event, hosted at the Circus Coffee Shop, in Daleside. Germiston Rotary and Germiston Wheelers are excited to launch this event, which consists of a 108km, 102km and 57km events.
The route is on roads south of Jozi, within the Midvaal Municipal borders. Some roads will be well known from other races, but the route will be different in some aspects. Our reasoning behind this are traffic volumes, the number of marshals required at intersections and the ease of access to main roads to/from the venue.
