||Kingston Barracks Army Jetty, Rottnest Island
Conducted in the crystal clear protected waters of Rottnest Island which is situated approx. 20kms off the coast of Perth, Western Australia.
This event was first conducted in 1977 and has been held annually ever since.
It is always held on the first Saturday of December and is hugely popular.
Remains open until 10.00am the day before the event.
18 years and over $40 ($45 from 28/11 - 2/12)
Under 18 years $30 ($35 from 28/11 - 2/12)

ENTRY ON THE DAY
Will be accepted. Cost $50 - can be eftpos or cash. All will be eligible for prizes.
The 500m Swim will start all at once. Starting waves may be used depending on the number of entries.
The 1600 Metre Swim will have colour coded caps issued at Registration to determine your starting position. Swimmers will be sent off in waves of 3 minute intervals and no more than one colour will be allowed in the water at any one time. It is essential that all swimmers are on the beach near the start line to allow the briefing to commence on time.
Race caps and timing bands will be issued from 10:30am on the day. They MUST be worn.
All swimwear must be FINA compliant.
Will be held at the race area immediately upon race completion. This allows plenty of time for those catching afternoon ferries so please join us to help celebrate a great wrap-up of the day. You must be at the Presentations to be eligible to win a random draw prize.

Should the event be cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions then registration fees will be refunded minus any bank fees incurred.
If the event is forced to cancel due to reasons other than Covid 19 or you are no longer able to compete once you register then no refunds will be issued.
