Betws-y-coed Trail Challenge was first staged in 2013, and this year is celebrating the 10th time it has taken place. Now under the stewardship of Mucky Boots Events – formed by Jayne Lloyd and Jon Davies who have nurtured Trail Betws from its inception – the event is continuing its long-running association with Help for Heroes, proudly giving a bit back to those who have given too much of themselves.
Winding its way up through the Gwydyr Forest behind Betws-y-coed, our technically challenging and visually stunning course takes a lap around Llyn Elsi before descending to finish at the Waterloo Hotel. We have 5k, 10k, and half-marathon distances available, with CaniX categories in all. If you fancy running with a 15kg rucksack, you can enter our 10k Bergen Challenge.
