About: The Balwin Properties Marathon 2023
The Balwin Properties Marathon is the continuation of the incredibly successful Dolphin Coast Marathon which achieved 10 000 entries in 2020 under the banner of Deloitte. With the Balwin Property Group on board as the Title Sponsor, we believe that the event will grow up to and beyond its status as one of the Premier Marathon Events in South Africa.
Starting and finishing at the Amphitheatre on the iconic Durban Promenade, the race is capped at 6000 entries this year and is expected to sell out before entries officially close on 27 March 2023. For the first time the high quality race shirt goes to all entries in the 42km, 21km AND the 10km races.
The Marathon is the second most popular choice in South Africa as a Comrades Qualifier. Don't miss out.

Routes
The 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km Start and Finish at the Amphitheatre on the Durban Promenade.
The 42km and 21km Races follow the M4 out towards Sibaya and return on the same route to the Finish.
The 10km race turns off the M4 at Blue Lagoon and returns on the Promenade.
The 5km runs out and back on the Promenade.
The Finish Venue for all races is the Amphitheatre on the Durban Promenade (in front of the Elangeni Hotel)

Important Information
1. Entries close on Monday 27 March 2023 or when entries reach the 6000 entry cap.
2. NO LATE ENTRIES and NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED.
3. Race numbers and packs can be collected at the Amphitheatre on the Durban Promenade (in front of the Elangeni Hotel) on Friday 31 March 2023 from 12h00 to 17h00 and Saturday 01 April 2023 from 10h00 to 17h00.
NO RACE PACK COLLECTION ON RACE DAY OR AT THE START.
5. 5 KM entries will be available online, Race Pack Collection and at the Start from 07h00.
6. Race Shirts are capped at a total of 6000 for the 42.2 km (3500), 21.1 km (1800) and 10 km (700). There are no Race Shirts for the 5 km. Dolphin Coast Striders reserves the right to substitute sizes selected.
