The 38th marathon cycling is a fitness event for about 120 participants. In the summer of 2023, we depart from Kilpisjärvi. On Thursday, July 27th, cyclists and their equipment will be transported from Tornio to Tundrea holiday village in Muonio, where dinner and accommodation await. The cycling itself takes place on Friday and Saturday 28-29.7. The first-day leg from Muonio ends with a 53-kilometer free run to Äkäslompolo, where dining and accommodation are again arranged. On Saturday's stage, we will cycle to the finish line in Tornio, where participants will be rewarded and enjoy salmon soup from Lapland. Cyclists drive according to their fitness level in three different speed groups, with speeds of approx. 25 km / h, 30 km / h and +35 km / h. Service points are every 50 kilometers with a comprehensive food and beverage service. Marathon cycling is a fitness event so there is no timing.
