The Dyfi 8 Trail Race
Taking place entirely on forestry fire roads, this is a non-technical but fast and hilly race! Take on the classic 8 mile route (can you beat the 1 hour mark?!), or opt for the shorter 8k - either way, you'll find this an interesting and challenging race! As an added twist this year, we will be running the routes in reverse- so 2023 is a clockwise year!
As a low-cost event there are no medals or trophies, but there will be prizes for category winners. This year we will be raising money for the Chemotherapy Unit at Bronglais Hospital, in memory of our dear club secretary John Williams. Please donate on entry, thank you.
8 mile route approximate ascent: 400 metres
8k route approximate ascent: 280 metres
Open to age 17+ for the 8k route and 18+ for the 8 mile route (age on 31/12/23)
Event held in accordance with Welsh Athletics rules and regulations.
