The Cross Your Line Half Marathon had its inaugural event in April 2023, following massive success under its previous branding of The Birchwood Half Marathon. The much loved event has received praise across the board and, after seeing the demand from their loyal support base, have decided to expand the brand across different locations in South Africa, beginning with Middelburg on 12 August 2023.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT CROSS THE LINE MIDDELBURG The same organisational excellence, hospitality and extreme quality that you have become used to will be present at the Middelburg Cross The Line Half Marathon. We are putting every effort into ensuring that the event meets the highest road running standards, whilst also ensuring a wonderful family day out. We will be offering family-friendly entertainment, as well as ensuring that the running/walking events cater to all ages and levels of fitness and competitiveness.

RACE PACK COLLECTION
10th & 11th August 2023 | 12:00pm to 17:00pm | Kees Taljaard, Stadium
12th August 2023 | From 06h00 to 06h45 | Kees Taljaard Stadium (NO shirts will be handed out on race morning)
Virtual race participants will be able to collect their shirts during this time as well.
ONLY RACE numbers CAN be collected on the day of the race. HOWEVER no t-shirts will be handed out SHIRT INFO
Long Sleeve moisture management t-shirts will be given to the first 500 entrants

We will endeavour to supply requested sizes but cannot guarantee size or fit. T-shirts will NOT be exchanged on race day *

Your race number will indicate on the bottom right if you qualified for a t-shirt, with the world. The numerical number does not indicate whether you have qualified or not. T-shirt fittings will not be allowed.

Great grandmasters (70+) & blind runners are eligible for free entry, but they MUST enter online.
CUT OFF TIME
There will be no enforced cut off time for the event.
Marshals and Traffic officers on the route. Please note that traffic will have right of way, and all rules of the road must be strictly adhered to.
PARKING
There will be parking available at Kees Taljaard Stadium. Please try to carpool with other runners and arrive early to assist with congestion. |
