About:
SA Run4Cancer Ultra Marathon is a 5 in 1 road Race, in the following categories 48KM, 32KM, 21KM, 10KM & 5KM. The Race a Comrades and Two Oceans Qualifier, is hosted annually within the City of Polokwane during October supporting breast cancer awareness.
The hosting of Race has been a success over the years since its inception, our vision indeed is a stepping achievement. The 2018 48km race when the organisation SArun4Cancer NPC introduced this Marathon, the race attracted 4286 runners (from the targeted 5000 runners), then increased in 2019 to 6983 runners influenced by the change of the route Starting from Steven Lambart R71, near ZCC Moria to Polokwane New-Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Thereafter the Marathon was declared a first signature big race and the most highest paid race in all categories within the Province of Limpopo, the purpose of the route change was to engage the local community as SA run4cancer is for the People. Its 1st mission is to provide awareness and campaigns about different kinds of cancer as build-ups around local villages, we noticed the R101 had less participation from the locals. The participation from local villages from Moria, Turfloop, Ga-Mothapo, Delmada etc was satisfactory and the community also came out in numbers on the R71 route during the race day to cheer the runners it was indeed a beautiful gesture and experience.
IN 2023 as the marathon Race returns post COVID19 Pandemic we are now preplanning the Race with a slogan and tag line SINGENA-NGE-VOSHO! Starting point still: R71 ZCC Moria

Transport Time: 48 Km, 32 Km, 21 Km will depart from Old Peter Mokaba at 04h00. (Dont be late)
NB: Use of Buses is compulsory for 48 ,32 & 21km due to road closer from 05h00
Foreign athletes must provide a clearance certificate and an ASA authentication letter to the race organisers. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.
Dry Fit Tshirt included to first 1000 online entries for 48km, 32km & 21km. Please select a size when entering.
NB: No free Tshirt for Late registration on-site for 48km, 32km & 21km (If you require a Tshirt you will be required to buy it separately at an additional charge of R120).
Dry Fit Tshirt excluded to online entries for 10km and 5km Optional to buy it separately at an additional charge of R120.
