Shrewsbury Triathlon & Quadrathlon

Location: Greenhous West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury, SY1 2PF

The medieval town of Shrewsbury welcomes you to the staging of the 12th Shrewsbury Sprint Triathlon & Quadrathlon. There is also a Sprint Triathlon Relay.

SYTri (Shrewsbury Triathlon Club) stage the event which strives to improve year on year and provides the unique 500m (downstream - wetsuit required) river swim, (Quadrathlon competitors then complete a 4k kayak) followed by a 23k fast undulating bike course on country roads. Finishing with a flat & fast traffic free 5k run inside the showground (your supporters are never far away) on mixed surface paths. Excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!

Race Pass Details:

To participate in this event, you are required to become a member of British Triathlon and hold a race licence. You must either become a Core or Ultimate annual member here (https://www.britishtriathlon.org/join) or purchase a single use Race Pass for your race here (https://www.britishtriathlon.org/events/2024-castle-country-club-sprint-triathlon-and-quadrathlon_15207)

A Race Pass is a British Triathlon membership product. Individuals who are not annual members of British Triathlon must purchase a Race Pass to take part in a British Triathlon permitted event. A Race Pass provides membership to the sport on the day of the event, a race licence and public liability insurance cover only for the duration of the race it was purchased for.
