About: ZANZI HALF is a NON-profit race and cultural event allowing humankind and sports to be center of the event. Your participation supports KIMBIA BILA SHAKA. The sustainable platform and humanitarian development initiative in Zanzibar. An action towards FN's sustainable development goals 2030 driving health prevention by regular exercise to combat health conditions and diseases for both genders.
Thereby, working to reduce inequalities that prevents the important direction of sustainable and healthy villages and towns in Zanzibar - youth and women's rights, gender equality and continuous work towards a better health among women on Zanzibar' a safe platform for them to flourish.

Registration is required in order to participate on race day.
To register click on "Individual Entry" below, and choose your appropriate category:
1. Donations Only
No participation in the race but wish to support the cause
2. Tanzanian runners
Only nationals from Tanzania
3. East African runners and residents
East African nationals are from the following countries: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo.
4. International runners
If none of the above applies to you, you are considered an international runner.
Then you choose your race-category:
5 km walking
5 km
10 km
Half Marathon (21,097 km)
NOTE:
You can choose only ONE race-category when you purchase your personal entry for this years'
ZANZI HALF and it is not possible to change your race-category during the registrations process.
You can only have ONE race-number in your name. But you can make unlimited registrations on "Donations Only" to support the race and the movement in Zanzibar.
Bring valid national picture ID to validate your identity, when picking up your race-start-kit prior to race day in Stone Town, Zanzibar.
