The Qhubeka AC Human Rights Day Race had its inaugural event in March 2023. Following the success after its first race and the demand from the running community to have longer Distances, the organizers saw it fitting to introduce the 21.1km double lap distance for its 2024 Race.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR 2024 EVENT: The same organisational excellence, hospitality and extreme quality that you have been accustomed to in Qhubeka AC organized events. We are putting every effort into ensuring that the event meets the highest road running standards, whilst also ensuring a wonderful family day out. We will be offering family-friendly entertainment, as well as ensuring that the running events cater to all ages and levels of fitness and competitiveness.

The route will be available on STRAVA and Garmin connect should you wish to download it ahead of time.

T-SHIRT INFO:
Free T-shirts will be given to the first 300 entrants.
We will endeavour to supply requested sizes but cannot guarantee size or fit.
Your race number will indicate on the bottom right if you qualified for a T-shirt, with the word "T-shirt".
T-shirt fittings will not be allowed.
CUT-OFF TIMES:
10km: 2hrs (8:00am)
21km: 3hrs30min (9:30am)
Marshals and Traffic officers on the route. Please note that traffic will have right of way, and all rules of the road must be strictly adhered to.
PARKING:
There will be parking available at School of Achievement, runners you are encouraged to carpool with other runners and arrive early to assist with congestion. |
