About: Standard Chartered Bank will host the 21st edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon this year. The Bank, with the support of Athletics Kenya, built an event that has placed Kenya on the international map. We are dedicated to fostering positive change in our communities while promoting health, wellness, and environmental stewardship. All proceeds from the marathon go towards "Futuremakers" by Standard Chartered, our community approach to helping the youth learn, earn and grow. Furthermore, in this year's edition, we commit to ensuring our marathon is the most sustainable globally. We aspire to plant 2 million trees in the next 5 years and strive to reduce the use of single plastics in all our marathon events
