About: Fat Cats Athletic Club will be hosting the 6th instalment of the Fat Cats 10K race which also feature the popular 5km timed race. The race will take place on 6 October 2024 at Mall of Africa, Waterfall City. Come and experience the warm spirit that Fat Cats are renowned for and choose between the two distances.
In living to its tag line, "A Run for the Whole Family", the race also offers activities for the younger ones with a 1.6km Kitten Miler and 250m Nappy Dash events.
Important:
i. Online entries open on Monday, 17 June 2024 and will close on Wednesday, 2 October 2024 or when 2 500 entries across all events have been reached, whichever comes first.
ii. Only entries received online on or before 25 September 2024 will be eligible for a goodie bag. No race packs, including t-shirts and/or or goodie bags can be collected after the race has started on Sunday. All uncollected race packs will be forfeited.
iii. Bulk entries will be taken up to 18 September 2024. All vouchers must be claimed before 25 September 2024 to qualify for a goodie bag. Vouchers not claimed before the 2 October 2024 will be forfeited and no vouchers can be used to purchase an entry after online entry closing date.
iv. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be granted in respect of entry fees, as a result of the race being cancelled on account of weather, errors by participants when entering online, or any unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the event organizers.
No entries will be available on race day. Medals to all finishers.

Friday, 4 October 2024, between 17:00 - 20:00 at Mall of Africa, Waterfall City
Saturday, 5 October 2024, between 10:00 - 18:00 at Mall of Africa, Waterfall City
Race day, 6 October 2024, between 04:30 - 06:30 at Mall of Africa, Waterfall City (Collection only)
A limited number of entries may be available on Friday & Saturday before race day on a first come, first grab basis, but will not include a goodie bag. Manual entries will attract an administration fee of R20 across all events and distances.

Nappy Dash starts at 08:30am
Cut off time for all distance: 09:30am
Race Support & Facilities:
- Waterpoints at every 3km for 10km, at 2,5km for 5km and at the finish.
- Parking is available at user's cost at Mall of Africa from 04h30 at a weekend flat rate of R10.
- Kids play area available at the finish.
