Urithi Athletics Club is a development athletics club formed in 2019, our vision is to prepare future champs (not only Urithi members), hence our slogan:

Urithi Legacy Race, scheduled for the 8th of March, 2025, is a race that caters for all levels of runners, with distances including the invigorating 21km, the fast 10km, and the team-spirited 5.4km. The 2024 race produced fast times both on the 10km and 5km, and the 21km will definitely produce faster times. We encourage you to mobilize your athletes and enjoy a day of camaraderie and athletic excellence.
As a development club that shares a passion for athletics and community development, we believe that your participation will not only add competitive spirit to the race but also contribute significantly to the causes we support.
Proceeds from this event will be channelled towards three remarkable beneficiaries:
1. The Teddy Bear Foundation - A sanctuary for abused and abandoned children in Krugersdorp, providing them with the care and support they need to heal and thrive.
2. Lesego Primary School's Coaching Program - 20 learners from Muldersdrift will receive specialized training in track and field as well as cross country, fostering young talent and nurturing future champions.
3. Urithi Sponsored Runners - We are dedicated to empowering runners from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them the support and opportunities to pursue their athletic dreams.

Busses: 21km and 10km participants will be bussed to their respective starts.
