About: The Pirates 21K Powered by Medshield, known as Joburg's Toughest Half, has become a must-do event on the Gauteng race calendar.
Around 4000 athletes go Over The Mountain on the famous route over Northcliff Hill for bragging rights, a medal for all finishers and t-shirts for the first 2000 entrants.
