The Modderfontein Half Marathon is proudly brought to you by Inkamana Athletics Club. 2025 marks the 3rd offering of this iconic race!
Bring your party running shoes to Taroko Trail Park to experience Modderfontein, incorporating the old suburb into the new developments around the area. Experience the calmness of the morning and listen to the birds chirping on the trees.
Come join the running family as we celebrate the hard work that you have put into your Comrades Marathon preparations. This race offers you time out with your running friends. Bring your family to enjoy the morning at this event! There's everything for every family member, starting from the 5km fun run to the 10km and 21km races!
Entry fees (excluding service costs that will still be added)
- 21.1km: R240 (late entries: R260), Grand Masters: R190 (Late entries: R210)
- 10km: R160 (late entries R190), Grand Masters: R110 (Late entries: R140)
- 5km fun run: R90 (late entries: R110), Grand Masters: R50 (Late entries: R60)
- Great-grand Masters: Free for all distances
Temporary licences:
- 21.1km: R70
- 10km: R60
Race T-shirts: R180.00 each
- FREE race t-shirts to the 1st 100 fully paid race entries
- Race t-shirts will be selling with the race entries until 31 March 2025
- Sizes: XS - 2XL men and ladies cuts.
Race Information.
- Early online entries will close on the 30th of April 2025, thereafter late entry fees will apply.
- Late online entries will start on 01 May 2025.
- Very late online entries, subject to availability will be taken at collections venue or can be made on collections days.
- 21.1km entrants may finish only the 10km if desired but will not qualify for 10km prizes.
- Substitutions may be done on Friday 09 & Saturday 10 May 2025, at collection venue.
- A fee will be charged for each substitution.
- No substitutions will be made on race day.
- Race numbers collection - at the venue that will be announced via email and sms:
- Friday, 09 May 2025 from 12:00 p.m. - 05:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 May 2025 from 09:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.
- Race numbers collection on race day at the venue, Taroko Trail Park from 05:00 a.m. to 06:45 a.m.
- Cut off times: 21km: 3 hours 30 minutes; 10 km: 2 hours 30 min.
