About: RACE TO GENDER EQUALITY
Equality is not a women's issue, it's a human issue. Join us on March 16th, 2025, as we unite to break the bias and accelerate the race for gender equality. Together, let's commemorate International Women's Day and forge a brighter future for all.
Hosted by the centre for gender equality, wellness and leadership (GEWAL) at the Motsepe Foundation, the 21km, 10km and 5km fun run is open to anyone who shares in the vision of striving for a gender equal and fair world for all, in sports and all frontiers.

10km - start time 07h00
5km - start time 07h00
5km & 10km start at Randburg Sports Club.
All distances end at Randburg Sports Club.

Bus transport will be provided to the start before and/or after the race at Randburg Sports Complex
Option 1 : Bus transport will be provided to the start from Randburg Sport Complex on the 16th of March 2025
Shuttle times: 04h00 | 04h30 | 05h00 | 05h30 | 05h45 (Last bus)
Option 2 : Bus transport will be provided back to start at Mary Fitzgerald Square after the race.
Shuttle times: 09h00 until 11h00 (intervals of 30 minutes or as the bus is full)
