About: The Middle Endurance Challenge requires solo runners, or relay teams of two or four, to set a goal of how many loops they can run in up to 8 hours. Each loop is a 5km trail run or hike through Virginia Bush in Durban North.
Each runner or team will be required to manage themselves during the allotted time period as they work to achieve their goal. Runners and spectators can soak up the festive atmosphere at our event village - runners aid station, sponsored prizes, food and drink vendors, apparel sales and more.
All solo runners and teams will be required to confirm their goal when registering.
A race pack will be released prior to the event which will confirm:
- The exact loop route.
- The exact distance and elevation.
- Registration procedure and timings.
- Race start and finish times.
- Aid station details and gear requirements.
