The running festival ekasi is back with a bang! Come join Lesedi Athletic Club on its traditional Reconciliation Day Half Marathon. This sought-after race has earned its enviable reputation as the running festival before Christmas where Children from Vosloorus and surrounding townships get to be spoilt with sweets, chips, toys, and all types of gifts. It also serves as an event to close off the running calendar in style while at the same time preparing the running community for the New Year.

Free Entrance for Blind Runners and 70+
Temporary Licence: 10km - R60 and 21.1km - R70
The first 300 entries will receive a complimentary event T-Shirt (21.1km and 10km only) sizes subject to availability, thereafter T-shirts will be available at a cost of R150.
All finishers will receive a medal.
Win a Pair of Running shoes - 2 pairs of running shoes is up for grabs for a lucky Male and Female participants, drop your name and race number at the finish line to enter.
Late entries
Subject to availability will be available at race number collection on the 13th, 14th and 15th December 2025.
R20 extra charge for late entries.

Timing and Prizes
Peak Timing will electronically be timing the event. To ensure that you are accurately recorded in the race results it is important that you do not fold your race number with the electronic timing chip.
Clearly visible Age Category Tags must be worn on the front and back of the vest to be eligible for an age category award. Proof of age must be produced on the day.

Parking is available at own risk at the Stadium.
Club Gazebos and Vendors
Pre-approval is required for all Running Clubs and Food / Clothing Vendor Gazebos.
No setup of Gazebos will be allowed on the field. However there will be designated area for Gazebos.
