Date: 22/03/2026 Location: Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre, Kibler Park About: Johannesburg Harriers Athletics Club are proud to present the Johannesburg City Marathon 42.2km, 21.1km and the 10km race. Distances & Entry Fees Open 42.2km R390 21.1km R290 10km R190 Grandmaster 42.2km R290 21.1km R190 10km R100 Free T-shirt to the first 500 entries. All finishers within the 12h00 cut-off will receive a medal. Prize Money - click here Your race number will include a timing chip and timing will be based on gun-to-mat for both the 21km & 42km events. This is an essential Comrades qualifier or if already qualified is excellent training preparation. Starting times 21.1km & 42.2km at 06h00 10km at 07h00 Walkers welcome on the 10km and half marathon only Cut-off times for the 42.2km route will be 09h30 around the 26km mark. Runners will be asked to leave the route after 12h00 as the support will be withdrawn. Please note that manual entries, if available, will attract an additional fee of R25. Entries received after 22nd February 2026 will also be subject to an additional charge of R25.
