Date: 08/02/2026 Location: Westgate Shopping Centre, Roodepoort About: Roodepoort Athletics Club are proud to present the Westgate Family Run on Sunday, 8 February 2026, starting at Westgate Shopping Centre, Entrance 2, Ontdekkers Road, Horizon View. We are introducing a NEW 21.1km distance as well as the normal 10 & 5km. Entry Fees: 21km - R220 (Grandmasters R80) 10km - R160 (Grandmasters R70) 5km - R90 (Grandmasters R60) Above fees exclude all online entry transaction fees. Temp licenses: 21km - R70 10km - R60 Entrants to the 10/21km are required to run with either their permanent ASA licenses or if they are not affiliated with a club, they must purchase & run with a temporary license). Registered athletes for the 21/10km must wear club colours and two 2026 license numbers (back and front). Temporary licensed athletes on the 21/10km must wear the race number at the front and the temporary license on the back with plain clothing. Entries will be limited to the following: 650 entries on the 5km 650 entries on the 10km 700 entries on the 21km NO RACE DAY ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Race number collection: Venue : Westgate Shopping Centre, Entrance 2 Times : Friday 6 February 2026 from 17h00 - 19h00 Saturday 7 February 2026 from 09h00 - 15h00 Sunday 8 February 2026 from 04h30 - 05h30 T-Shirts: Limited number of T-Shirts will be available for purchase on the online entry system. Manual entries are not eligible for a T-Shirt purchase. Medals: Medals to all 5/10/21km finishers within the cut off time. Race start times: 21/10km 6h00 5km 6h15 PRIZE MONEY - Men and Women Prize-giving will be at 08h30 The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes participating indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against all and any actions of whatsoever nature that may arise out of their participation in the race. The Road Race is organised by the Roodepoort Athletics Club and made possible by the Westgate Shopping Centre.
