Mamepe Striders AC are excited to announce the 2nd edition of the MNS Attorneys Marathon at Carnival City on the 1st of May 2026. The race offers a range of distances to cater to different fitness levels, goals and of course the all important Comrades qualifier. The 42km distance provides an opportunity for participants who are aspiring to qualify for Comrades Marathon.

The event is also supporting the 5km, 10km and 21km distances, making it inclusive and accessible to individuals of all abilities. It promises to be a day filled with fun, fitness and community spirit. Don't miss out on this Massive and Exciting Last Comrades Qualifier in the East Rand!

The starting times

06:30 am for 21 and 42km
06:45 am for 10km and 5km fun run

Entry Fees

For everyone excluding Grand Masters (≥60+ YEARS)

Distance Entry Fee

5km R100 (Grand Masters R70)
10km R180 (Grand Masters R140)
21km R250 (Grand Masters R200)
42km R350 (Grand Masters R250)

Excludes online transaction fees.

Great Grandmasters will receive free entry across all distances, they will only be liable to pay administration fees.

Race Cap per distance

42km - 1000 entries
21km - 1000 entries
10 & 5km - 1500 entries

The late online and manual entry (race number) sale will not be available on collection days including the race day.

The first 100 entrants across the marathon & half marathon will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Thereafter T-shirts will be sold at R230.00 each
