It's a Comrades Marathon PRE-PARTY!!!!
The Modderfontein Half Marathon, fondly known as MHM, is proudly brought to you by Inkamana Athletics Club. This 2026 Edition marks the fifth offering of this iconic event! Lace up your party running shoes to Taroko Trail Park, Farmers Market, to experience Modderfontein, incorporating the old suburb into the newer developments around Modderfontein. Experience the calmness of the morning and listen to the birds chirping from the lake. Come join the running family to celebrate the hard work that you have put into your Comrades Marathon preparations. This race offers exciting time out with your running friends.
Bring along your family to enjoy the morning. There will be something for every family member, starting from the 4.9 km fun run and 5 km, 10 km and 21 km races.

Race Information.
Early bird entries will close on Sunday, 26 April 2026, thereafter late entry fees will apply until race day or until the entries are sold out.
- Webtickets, Boxer Stores, Pick 'n Pay Stores and Racepass entries close on Monday 27 April 2026.
- Peak Timing entries will be available until race day or until entries are sold out!
Substitutions, upgrades and downgrades may be done on Friday 08 May and Saturday 09 May 2026 at the race pack collections venue, Sportsmans Warehouse, Stoneridge Mall.
- R50 fee will be charged for each substitution and upgrades
- there will be no refunds for downgrades.
- No substitutions on race day
Race t-shirt price is R200.00
- Sales will close on Friday, 03 April 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- Sizes are available from Extra Small (XS) to 3-Extra Large 3XL for Ladies and Mens cuts
Race pack collection will take place on
- Friday 08 May and Saturday 09 May 2026 from 09:30 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. at Sportsmans Warehouse, Stoneridge Mall and
- On race day, Sunday 10 May 2026 from 04:30 a.m. until 06:45 a.m. at the race venue, Taroko Trail Park (Farmers Market)
Tog bag facility will be provided on race day. Personal belongings will be left at owner's risk.
Prize giving will commence at 09h30.
- Proof of age is required for all category prize winners.
- Objections must be lodged within 30 minutes before or after prize giving in writing to the Chief Race Referee accompanied by deposit of R500 which is refundable if appeal is upheld or forfeited if the appeal is unsuccessful.
Place all litter at the litter stations that will be provided at all waterpoints. |
