About:
The race was founded on the premise of developing it into a full marathon by 2028, which will be the first for Sandton City. Our aim is to take our participants on a tour of Africa's richest square mile and its leafy suburbs.
This race will be to the runner's delight because of its central location that can be easily accessible from all directions by private car, public transport, Rea Vaya and Gautrain alike. For those shopaholics and food enthusiast the list is endless from mainstream stores and to exclusive boutiques, take-aways and top-notch restaurants.
VAS:
Having participated in many races, we noticed that in almost all races the fun element is missing. We have made it our duty to make sure that fun shall be had.
1. Free aerobics after the race.
2. Free T-shirt for first 500 entries.
3. Pop Up Shisanyama as this will be the Year End Function for Runners.
4. Sunday Soul Session music by local DJs.
5. 21km prize monies to cover up to Grand Masters
