THIS IS THE ENTRY SYSTEM FOR THE SSWA Interschool SECONDARY XC Championship 2026
The Cross-Country competition is open to all Government and Non-Government school students.
As well as an inter-school competition, it also provides an opportunity for individual students whose schools do not enter a team to compete.
Multi Class Athletes may compete over the distances provided. To enter as a multi class athlete, complete the Individual Nomination form ensuring your classification and required distances are listed. Multi class athletes are eligible for selection to the state team.

The registration desk will be open from 7:45am for collection of race BIBS.
Please arrive at least an hour before your race starts to register and collect timing BIB.

10's, 11's and 12's State Team Trial. Multiple events will first up on the day.
(Times, once determined, are subject to change slightly, up until a week before the event)
Presentations for individuals will be done after each event.
Presentations for Race 12 (approx 1:40pm).
School Team Presentations (approx 1:45pm).
Please book buses for 2:00pm.
CATEGORY (EVENT) SELECTION:
Students to be entered into age divisions according to their year of birth.

INTERSTATE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM:
This event is the platform for selection into the SSWA Interstate Cross Country team which competes in the School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships in term three (3) of the year.
STATE TEAM SELECTION - PLEASE NOTE CHANGES FOR 2026
The SECONDARY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP will double as the SSWA State Team trial for the 10-19 years age divisions.
Please note - 10s, 11s and 12 year olds MUST attend the Secondary Champion Schools Cross Country event to be considered for state team selection.
State team officials will be in attendance at the event to monitor age divisions and address prospective team members.
All students who nominate as individuals MUST also complete the Interstate Nomination Form to be considered for state team selection.
All students who compete as part of their school team MUST also complete the Interstate Nomination Form to be considered for state team selection.
