Roodepoort Athletics Club are proud to present the 28th Anniversary of the Northgate Race on Sunday 19 July 2026, starting at Northgate Shopping Centre.
Pre entries will close on Sunday 12 July 2026.
Venue
Northgate Shopping Centre, Corner Olievenhout Ave and Northumberland Rd, Northriding. The race starts and ends at Entrance 4. Parking at Entrance 3, 5 and 6.
Both races start at 07h00.
Fees
10 km : R160
10 km 60 Years + : R70
5 km : R90
5 km 60 Years + : R60
Anybody can join, however, if you are not registered to an athletics club, you will be required to pay an additional fee of R60 for a temporary licence. Only applicable for the 10km.
All fees are excluding online transaction fees.

T-Shirts
Limited number of T-Shirts will be available for purchase through the online entry system only and no shirts can be purchased with a manual entry.
Prize-giving will be at 09h00
The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes participating indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against all and any actions of whatsoever nature that may arise out of their participation in the race.
