This winter, the award winning Discovery Vitality Run Series returns to Joburg. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, the series offers something for everyone - community spirit, unforgettable routes, and the motivation to keep moving.
Event 1: Race for Cancer with Orlando AC - 21 June 2026 (Orlando Stadium, Soweto)
Event 2: Rockies Gerald Fox Memorial with G. Fox - 12 July 2026 (Johannesburg Zoo)
Event 3: Randburg Harriers Challenge - 26 July 2026 (Randburg Sports Complex)
Event 4: Old Eds Road Race - 9 August 2026 (Old Eds Sports Club)
Event 5: Wanderers Road Race - 23 August 2026 (Wanderers Club)
VITALITY POINTS : Discovery Vitality members receive bonus fitness points for completing the race)
5 km: 300 + 500 bonus points = 800 points
10 km: 600 + 500 bonus points = 1100 points
21.1 km: 1500 + 500 bonus points = 2000 points
Vitality points will be rewarded upon verification of race completion and if consent was given for Peak Timing to share race results with Discovery Vitality.

Online entries close on 20 August 2026 at midnight.
Entries will be taken at the Sweat Shop, Dunkeld until 19 August 2026.
If not sold out, entries will be available at The Wanderers Club on 21 & 22 August between 10:00 and 17:00
Entries are limited to 9000 entries across all distances:
21.1km - 3 500 participants
10km - 3 700 participants
5km - 1 800 participants

Photographs will be taken by SMacPix, and can be viewed after the event at www.smacpix.com.
Secure tog-bag area.
Food and refreshments will be on sale.
No fires or gas braai's - catering will be available on the day.
Club gazebos welcome - subject to the above.
Medals to all finishers.
Strictly no refunds!
Limited parking. Please Uber or drive with a friend.
Please do not park on the race route and in front of residents driveways or gardens.
No parking will be available inside the Club.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions will only be accepted at race number collection on Friday and Saturday, 21 & 22 August 2026.
R20.00 per substitution.
