About:
Seshego MarathonTM is an annual 50km Ultra Marathon (4 in 1) that seeks to embrace running as a healthy lifestyle and to position Seshego as a destination of choice. The Marathon will offer the following distances: -
50km Ultra, both Comrades and Two Oceans Marathon Qualifier
21.1km Race
10km Race
5km Race Fun Run
This year we are celebrating our 05th anniversary; all athletes (50km and 21km) returning for their 05th time since 2022 will receive a surprise token of appreciation.
The 50km Ultra, 21.1km & 10km will all be timed by Peak Timing, and your timing chip will be included in your race number. Both online and manual entries close on 10th October 2026.
All entrants will receive a Medal upon completion of each race, and only the entry fee for the 50km Ultra includes a free bus ticket to the start.
Prize for Club with the most Finishers is for 50km, 21.1km & 10km races. To ensure you count towards your club, make sure you update your entry with your club's name.

Substitutions at R50 cost fee.
Start Time & Cut Off Times
50km will start at 5h30 with a cut-off at 10h50 (Comrades qualifying time is 5:49:59) and event is timed from Mat-to-Mat, except for prize money which is Gun-to-Mat.
21.1km will start at 6h00 with no cut-off.
10km will start at 6h00
05km will start at 6h10
