About: Welcome to The Blair Atholl MTB Challenge, taking place on 3 October 2026 at the beautiful Blair Atholl Estate and Village Green. We are excited to host riders, families, supporters, and outdoor enthusiasts for a memorable morning of mountain biking, community spirit, and scenic trails.
Whether you are joining us for the 10km, 20km, or 40km MTB challenge, this event is designed to offer a rewarding ride for every level of cyclist. From first-time participants to experienced riders, we look forward to seeing everyone enjoy the route, respect the environment, and make the most of race day.
Important Rider Information
Where to go: The race is held at Blair Atholl Estate and the Village Green. Upon entering the gate, travel all the way down to the bottom, approximately 2km. Do not turn off for any reason. Once you reach the traffic circle at the bottom, you will see the Village Green. Please bring your driver's licence for entry. GPS coordinates: 25°54'58.9"S, 27°55'17.0"E. Food and beverages: Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue before and after the race. Water points: The 10km route has no water point; the 20km route has one water point at 10km; the 40km route has water points at 10km and 30km. Hydration: Riders are strongly encouraged to carry a hydration pack or water bottle. Prizes: Although there is no prize money, there will be prizes for selected race winners as well as spot prizes. Riders and supporters are encouraged to stay for prize giving, as it could be your lucky day. Medals: Please note that there will be no medals for this event.

Safety and Conduct Reminders
- No helmet, no ride.
- No earphones, boom boxes, or audio devices are permitted.
- No cameras may be mounted on helmets or riders chests.
- Do not run across or onto the golf course under any circumstances.
- Please dispose of cups and litter in the bins provided at the water points. Littering will not be tolerated.
