Shrewsbury Triathlon & Quadrathlon

The medieval town of Shrewsbury welcomes you to the staging of the 12th Shrewsbury Sprint Triathlon & Quadrathlon. There is also a Sprint Triathlon Relay, Aquathlon and Aquabike.
SYTri (Shrewsbury Triathlon Club) stage the event which strives to improve year on year and provides the unique 500m (downstream - wetsuit required) river swim, (Quadrathlon competitors then complete a 4k kayak) followed by a 23k fast undulating bike course on country roads. Finishing with a flat & fast traffic free 5k run inside the showground (your supporters are never far away) on mixed surface paths. Excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!
Shrewsbury River Duathlon: Starting with with a flat & fast traffic free 5k run inside the showground followed by a 23k fast undulating bike course on country roads. Finishing with a 2.5k run. Excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!
Shrewsbury River Aquathlon: (30 place limit) provides the unique 500m (downstream-wetsuit required) river swim followed by a fast traffic free 5k run inside the showground (your supporters are never far away) on mixed surface paths. Excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!
Shrewsbury River Aquabike: This event by SYTri (Shrewsbury Triathlon Club) provides the unique 500m (downstream-wetsuit required) river swim followed by a fast 21K Bike out to Baschurch and back to inside the showground. This certainly offers the best finish line experience for athletes and also for spectators. An excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!
